Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound beef top sirloin steak, cut into thin strips (or stew meat)
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Hot cooked egg noodles
Preparation
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook onions in 2 tablespoons olive oil. Add beef to brown. Add Salt, pepper and flour. Cook and stir until onions are tender.
- In the same skillet, add broth; bring to a boil. Add mushrooms, simmer 5 minutes or until thickened and mushrooms are tender.
- Add sour cream and Worcestershire sauce; mix in noodles.
